These terms and conditions govern the use of the Voltuno website and web app. By creating an account, starting a trial or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these terms.

The service is provided by Voltuno (the "Provider"). For questions about these terms, contact [email protected].
Voltuno is a web app for creating, storing and exporting single-line diagrams, floor plans and related documents for Belgian electrical installations. Available features depend on the selected plan and may include cloud storage and export.
Voltuno grants the Customer a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service according to the selected plan. The Customer must provide accurate account information, protect their login credentials and report suspected misuse as soon as possible to [email protected]. The Customer is responsible for activity through their account, except to the extent it results from a security failure attributable to the Provider.
The Customer may not use the Service in an unlawful, harmful or disruptive manner. In particular, the Customer may not:
The Service, including its software, design, documentation, trademarks and materials supplied by Voltuno, remains the property of the Provider or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property rights. These terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to the Customer.
Projects created or uploaded by the Customer remain the property of the Customer or their rights holders. The Customer grants the Provider only a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, technically copy, process and display Projects to provide, secure and support the Service. Authorised persons may access Projects only when reasonably necessary for support requested by the Customer, a security investigation or debugging. Projects are not sold. The Customer warrants that they have the necessary rights and legal bases for content and personal data included in a Project.
The applicable price, billing period and VAT treatment are shown before purchase. Payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. A subscription renews automatically for the same billing period until the Customer cancels it. The Customer may cancel at any time before the next renewal date through their account; access will generally continue until the end of the period already paid for. If a payment fails or remains outstanding, the Provider may suspend access to paid features, subject to mandatory legal rights.
Every Customer may cancel their first purchase of each paid plan within 14 calendar days after entering into the agreement, without giving a reason. If a free trial precedes the first payment, this voluntary refund period runs until 14 calendar days after that first payment. To request a cancellation, send a clear statement to [email protected]. We will end access to the paid plan and refund the full amount received through the same payment method no later than 14 calendar days after receiving your request. Nothing is charged when you cancel during the free trial. This voluntary refund policy does not apply again to renewals, package changes or subsequent purchases of the same plan and does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
The Customer may cancel their subscription and delete their account through the available account settings. The Provider may restrict access immediately when necessary for security, to stop illegal use or to prevent serious harm. In the event of abuse of the Service or the licence — including generating schemas or plans in an automated or bulk manner and uploading disproportionately heavy files that overload the infrastructure — the Provider may suspend or terminate the account concerned with immediate effect and without refund of amounts already paid, without prejudice to the mandatory statutory rights of Consumers. For another material breach, the Customer will, where reasonable, first be given an opportunity to remedy it within an appropriate period. After termination, the right to use the Service ends, except for temporary access needed to obtain legally required data or available Projects.
The Provider uses reasonable efforts to keep the Service secure and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents and dependencies on infrastructure providers may temporarily limit availability. The Service is hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure provided by DigitalOcean, and the Provider is not liable for downtime, interruptions or loss caused by that hosting provider or other upstream suppliers, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. A Lifetime licence grants access for as long as the Provider keeps offering the Service, and not for the natural lifetime of the Customer. The Provider gives no assurance as to how long the Service will stay available and may wind it down, in whole or in part, at any time. If the Service is to be permanently discontinued, the Provider will inform paying Customers within a reasonable period beforehand and, where technically and legally possible, provide an opportunity to export stored Projects. The one-time payment for a Lifetime licence does not create a right to a full or partial refund should the Service later be discontinued, without prejudice to the mandatory statutory rights of Consumers.
Consumers benefit from the mandatory statutory conformity guarantee for digital content and digital services. During the period in which Voltuno continuously supplies the Service, it must conform to the agreement and to what a Consumer may reasonably expect, taking account of the nature of the Service and information provided before purchase. Nothing in these terms limits a Consumer's right to restoration of conformity, a price reduction, termination or another statutory remedy when the applicable conditions are met.
Voltuno provides tools and symbols for preparing electrical diagrams, but the accuracy and conformity of a final result also depend on the data entered by the Customer, selected settings and the actual installation. The Customer remains responsible for the content and technical verification of their Projects and must engage a qualified professional where necessary. Voltuno does not replace an electrical inspection and does not guarantee that every generated document will be accepted by an inspection body without further verification. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is liable only for direct loss that is the foreseeable result of a contractual fault attributable to the Provider. For Professional Users, that liability is limited to the fees they paid for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the loss. These limitations do not apply to wilful misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, death or personal injury, failure to comply with the statutory conformity guarantee, or where mandatory law imposes broader liability.
Questions, support requests and complaints may be submitted to [email protected]. Include enough information for the request to be investigated. The Provider will acknowledge or answer the request within a reasonable period and will first try to resolve complaints by mutual agreement.
Neither party is liable for any failure resulting from force majeure, such as natural disasters, war, pandemic, power outages, cyberattacks or third-party strikes. The affected party shall notify the other party without delay. If the force majeure event lasts more than 30 days, either party may terminate the agreement in whole or in part in writing, without costs or compensation.
The Provider may amend these terms to reflect changes to the Service, security, legislation or business operations. The latest version is published on this page. The Customer will be informed in advance by email or through the Service of material changes that adversely affect an ongoing paid agreement. If such a change is not required to comply with mandatory law and causes a material disadvantage, the Customer may terminate the affected agreement without additional cost before the change takes effect.
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law, excluding the rules of private international law. Disputes with Consumers shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction at the Consumer's place of residence. Disputes with Professional Users fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Antwerp.
These terms, together with the privacy policy, cookie policy and plan information shown at purchase, form the agreement concerning the Service. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply and the affected provision will be adjusted only as far as necessary to make it valid and enforceable. A failure to enforce a right immediately does not constitute a waiver of that right.
