The component library is the sidebar on the left of the editor — it is where you pick every symbol you need to build your single-line diagram. It was reorganised earlier this year, with tidy categories that open in a large window. From now on, you decide how it looks.

Two layouts, your choice
The grouped layout remains the default. Categories open in a roomy window where the symbols sit large and neatly arranged — handy while you are still finding your way around the library.
Alongside it, the classic sidebar is back: the coloured category bar with expandable lists and a button to switch between row and grid view. If that is what you were used to and you work faster with it, you can choose it again.
Where do you set it?
In the editor, open Settings and go to General. Under Component library, choose between Grouped and Classic. The change takes effect straight away and is remembered the next time you open the editor.
The same components, arranged differently
One thing worth stressing: you lose nothing by switching. Both layouts draw on exactly the same library, so every component added since the redesign is still there in the classic sidebar too. It is purely a matter of arrangement — and therefore of personal preference.
